5 Party Themes w/ Book Favor Ideas

I hate little plastic party favors. I feel bad giving them because I know they are junky and will go in the trash as soon as the kid turns his or her head and mom can swipe them off the kitchen counter, at least that's how it goes in my house. Break up these packs of 50 activity cards into smaller groups. Bind with a ribbon and attach a Dollar Store dry erase pen. Great for ages 6 and up. Card sets are $9.99.

Your 7 to 9 year old fairy fanatics will love these Silverlake Fairy School chapter books. At $4.99 they are a   good deal. And there are six in the series to choose from.

A great choice for an older princess. This book is for the 10+ princesses, and is $4.99.

A Giveaway You Say! Why Not?

I have been listening to a lot of training calls dealing with business and social media. I do this to learn, yes; but mainly I do this because it takes time away from what I should really be doing like actually making business phone calls or cleaning the house. It's not really what you'd call an "income producing activity."

At any rate, I have put some things in place to better manage my business social media, like actually scheduling literacy tips to post every Tuesday so I don't forget. And I decided to explore using giveaways as a way to increase my Facebook and Twitter followers, you know while I was at it.
